I’m Kerry Maddux, the one with the camera! I discovered photography my Sophomore year in high school. I fell in love after taking my first roll of film. I got my Pentax K-1000 35mm camera on my 16th birthday. My plans were to study photography in college and make a career of taking pictures of architecture and people. Well, life took a few turns and the camera went on the shelf. For the last 15 years, I have been a stay-at-home Mom to my 6 {yes, 6!} kids, and just married the best guy ever. Armed with Canon 5D Mark 2, I shoot as often as I can.
My goal is to capture family connections, personalities that make each person unique, that special moment in time you never want to forget. My style is fresh, fun & modern. I believe in capturing moments that are genuine, fun and show you for who you are. No stuffy over-formal poses. Just you. Because your memories of today will be everything tomorrow.
